There is some good news for the ZUK Z2 or ZUK Z2 Pro users as ZUK which is Lenovo’s subsidiary has announced a beta version of their ZUI 2.0 UI based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 for their two smartphones in China. One of the main features which will makes its way to your device is the One Click Overclocking feature to speed up the ZUK Z2 even more.
If you are wondering that the ZUK Z1 comes with CyanogenOS then why are we talking about the ZUI, the company has been using ZUI in their devices globally which is their own UI. The ZUK Z2 and Z2 Pro are amazing devices launched with some great specifications following up on its predecessor which was much appreciated. The ZUI 2.0 beta update will be rolling out to all the devices under ZUK but the One Click overclocking feature will be available only for the ZUK Z2.
With the One Click Overclocking feature the ZUK Z2 users will be able to increase the processor speeds from 1.8GHz to 2.15GHz or 2.3GHz. This is one of the main features which will be available in ZUI 2.0 update but we will need to see what other issues and new updates are rolled out alongside. By improving the speeds you will be getting the best in terms of performance but the battery life will be affected.
The ZUK Z2 comes with specifications like 5.0-inch FHD display being powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space. The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture along with an 8MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The ZUI 2.0 stable version will be rolled out to the device by the end of July and will be available as an OTA update.
