Zebronics has launched their latest fitness band, the ZEB-Fit500 which is the second fitness band after their first fitness band launched in October last year, the ZEB-Fit100. The ZEB-Fit500 is an upgraded successor to the Fit100 as it sports a Heart rate monitor, it also comes with a touch sensitive button which helps in working around the functions and also displays notifications.
The ZEB-Fit500 comes with a complete revamp in terms of design with a beautiful glass-covered display which has the touch sensitive button on the bottom. The heart rate monitor is located on the back of the band and it comes with two modes – Manual and Automatic. If the Automatic mode is activated, the band keeps track of your heart rate data every 5 minutes which can be seen on the mobile app in the form of a data graph. It also comes with a feature to record your heart rate when you are running or walking giving you the information through the App.

The ZEB-Fit500 comes with a feature called Camera remote shutter which lets the user control the smartphone camera through the fitness band. The other useful feature is the Anti-Lost feature and Find Phone which lets the user track or locate the phone by alerting the user on the band and the user can ring the phone with the help of the band helping you locate it. It comes with a 70mAh battery which the company promises will give 15 days of battery life.
The Zebronics ZEB-Fit500 is available in Black, Red and Blue colors and will be available at all leading retail stores across India and is priced at Rs. 3,999. The ZEB-Fit500 is going up against the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 which is priced very aggressively at Rs. 1,999 and with similar features, the ZEB-Fit500 will have tough competition in the market but with offline availability, it will be interesting to see.
