YU Yunique 2 with 5-inch HD display, 4G VoLTE and Android 7.0 launched at Rs. 5999

YU has launched their latest budget smartphone, the YUNIQUE 2 which is the successor to the Yunique Plus which was launched last year. The device comes with a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. There is an increase in size of the display from 4.7-inch to 5-inch in the Yunique 2. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU.

It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. One of the most impressive features is that it comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. YU has partnered with Flipkart to sell the phone and it comes with Truecaller preloaded into the phone.

The YU Yunique 2 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device comes with a candy bar design and it has ditched the Rounded design surrounding the camera but comes with a standard camera design in the middle. It has rounded borders and looks a bit more premium. It comes with 4G VoLTE support and WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with 2500mAh battery.

The YU Yunique is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be available in Coal Black and Champagne Gold colors. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from 12PM on July 27th.
