Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 vs Cool1 Dual vs Honor 6x Comparison and Differences

Xiaomi has unveiled their latest smartphone the Redmi Note 4 in India which is the successor to their popular Redmi Note 3. The segment which this phone is targeting is full of smartphone which are at par with some of the flagships in terms of specifications on paper and Redmi Note 4 is no less, the devices which come in competition to the Redmi Note 4 in a similar price range and specifications are the Cool1 Dual and Honor 6x which has a slight edge in terms of the dual camera set up but let us look at all three devices in a detailed comparison to see which device is the best for your requirements.

Design and Display:

All three devices sport a metal back with plastic on the top and bottom of the back panel for the Antenna set ups. All three devices have the Fingerprint sensor on the back below the camera set up. The Cool 1 and the Honor 6X have a Dual Camera set up on the back in comparison to the single camera set up of the Redmi Note 4. The Honor 6x has the capacitive keys on the screen while the Redmi Note 4 and Cool 1 has capacitive backlit keys below the display. All three devices sport a 5.5-inch FullHD display which is quite bright and has good viewing angles.

Performance:

The Coolpad Cool 1  appears to the most powerful on paper in terms of specifications with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and having 3GB and 4GB RAM options along with storage of 32GB. The Redmi Note 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options and various storage options. The Honor 6x is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 655 SoC which we have not tested yet so cannot comment on its performance in comparison to the other two devices. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options.

Camera:

Among the three devices the Redmi Note 4 has the basic Single lens rear camera with a 13MP rear camera  with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front facing shooter. So the real comparison or fight is between the other two devices which come with Dual camera set up. The Honor 6X sports a 12MP primary rear camera with a supporting 2MP monochrome sensor for getting the depth-of-field in photos. The Cool 1 sports a 13MP dual rear camera set up as well and both the cameras can record up to 4K video and 1080p recording with the front camera.

Battery and Connectivity:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 4100mAh battery while the Cool 1 which sports a 4000mAh battery. While the Honor 6X has the smallest battery with a 3340mAh battery. All three devices come with dual-SIM support and 4G VoLTE support as well along wiht Bluetooth v4.1 and WiFi- b/g/n.

Pricing and Availability:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the cheapest of the three starting form Rs. 9,999 for 2GB+32GB storage, Rs. 10,999 for 3GB+32GB storage and Rs. 12,999 for 4GB RAM+64GB storage. The Coolpad or LeEco Cool 1 is priced at Rs. 13,999 for both the 3GB RAM and  32GB storage variant which is available offline and 4GB RAM/32GB storage available online for the same price. The Honor 6x is expected to be priced below the Rs. 15,000 mark. With this we can say that the Redmi Note 4 appears to be the cheapest of the three but with the dual Camera set up in the Cool 1 and Honor 6x the perfect choice will be between these two if you are someone interested in camera.
