Xiaomi has launched their latest budget segment smartphone, the Redmi Go which is their first budget smartphone under Android Go platform in India. Android Go is a stripped down version of the regular Android OS which can run on entry level smartphones with limited power. The Redmi Go is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor having Adreno 308 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The internal storage on Redmi Go is 8GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi Go smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo OS – Oreo Go Edition. The device is powered by a 5-inch HD Display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 380 nits brightness.
Redmi Go comes with a single 8MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1.12um pixel size and is capable of 1080p video recording. It comes with 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture along with auto HDR option. The device comes with Dual SIM support having a Hybrid SIM slot (2nd slot). It has a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM radio support. It comes with 4G VoLTE support and has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity features. The Redmi Go is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
