There might not be a large market for the Phablets but surely there will be many users who will be welcoming these devices.

When it comes to the Display, both the devices are huge with the Xiaomi Mi Max at 6.44-inch in comparison to the slightly bigger Galaxy J Max which sports a 7-inch which is even bigger, the size of a Tablet. one of the main aspects is the resolution of the display, the Mi Max has a higher resolution Full HD IPS Display when compared to the WXGA TFT 1280 x 800 pixels resolution in the Galaxy J Max. So if you want a bigger display the J Max it is but if you ask me the Mi Max with a 6.44-inch and better resolution will be the winner.

Then comes the Performance, the Mi Max is way ahead of the Galaxy J Max in this aspect. It comes in two variants – SD 650 and SD 652 with 3GB or 4GB variants respectively compared to the 1.5GHz quad-core SoC in the J Max coupled with 1.5GB of RAM which does not stand a chance in comparison to the Mi Max in terms of processing speeds. Even with the Camera the Mi Max is ahead with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera, whereas the Galaxy J Max comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera.

The Mi Max with a higher capacity Battery at 4850mah compared to the 4000mAh batter in the J Max along with good design is in all aspects better than the J Max considering the pricing of the two devices. There are certain videos showing the build quality of the Mi Max to be a bit lower, where slight pressure in the middle is showing a bend with the internals being seen which is a concern. The Galaxy J Max does not have a Fingerprint sensor whereas the Mi Max comes with a fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the device.

When you look at the last but the most important aspect, the pricing. Mi Max wins it in all segments with being the most value for money device of the two. The Samsung galaxy J Max is available in Black and Gold colors priced at Rs. 13,400 while the Mi Max will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colors. Mi Max is available in two variants – SD 650 + 3GB RAM priced at Rs. 14,999 while the SD 652 + 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 19,999. Giving the Xiaomi Mi Max an edge with a better display, better processor and over better everything when compared to the Galaxy J Max.
