Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with 6.9-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636 processor, 6GB RAM and 5500mAh battery announced

Xiaom i has just announced the Mi Max 3 which is their latest smartphone in the Mi Max series, the device has been announced in China. The device comes with a massive 6.9-inch Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and has very slim bezels of 1.3mm which make the device smaller in comparison to its predecessor and easy to use inspite of the massive 6.9-inch display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB and 6GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 sports a Dual Rear camera set up with a 12MP shooter with dual PD focus and a secondary 5MP sensor which comes with AI features to detect 206 scenes and adjust accordingly. The front camera is an 8MP shooter and it supports face unlock. The device comes with LPDDR4 64GB and 128GB storage variants.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 on top. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot with nano/nano + microSD card slots. The Fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the device and an Infrared sensor is located on top. It is powered by a 5500mAh battery and in spite of the huge battery, it is just 7.99mm in thickness. The Battery supports Quick Charge 3.0 to charge it fast.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is launched at a price of 1699 yuan (Rs. 17,000 approx) for 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant is priced at 1999 yuan (Rs. 20,000 approx). The device is said to be available in China starting from July 20th in Meteorite Black, Dream Gold and Dark Blue colors. The launch sate in India and other places is not mentioned yet.
