Xioami has launched their latest Powerbanks, the second generation of the 10000mAh and 20000mAh Mi Powerbaks 2 as the successor to their first generation power banks in India. The main upgrade of the two powerbank’s is the inclusion of support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 to help smartphones which has Quick charge 3.0 to charge faster. The powerbank’s come with two-way fast charging.
The 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 comes with unibody metal design as earlier and is just 14.1mm in thickness and measures 120 x 71 x 14.1 mm. It comes with 5.0V-2.0V / 9V-12A, 18W input and it can be cahrged fully in 4.2 hours. The powerbank comes with 93% conversion rate and has low-power mode which can be activated by pressing the power button twice. The low-power mode can be used to charge devices like Mi Band and Mi Bluetooth headset. It supports 5.0V / 2.0A, 9.0V / 2.0A and 12V / 1.5A – 15W output for fast charging. The power bank comes with a single USB port, micro USB port along with four indicator LED lights and a power button.
The 20000mAh Mi Powerbank is 23.9mm in thickness and measures 135.5×67.6mm which is quite compact for its capacity. The powerbank comes with 5.1V / 3.6A output when two devices are connected, and supports 5V/2.4A-9V/2A-12V/1.5A with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 when using single port. It comes with 93% conversion rate and can be charged in 6.2 hours using a fast charger as it supports two way fast charging.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh powerbank 2 is priced at Rs. 1,199 and the 20000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 is priced at Rs. 2,199. Both the powerbanks are available in Black color. Both will be available from Mi.com and Mi Home from June 20th and will be available on Amazon and Flipkart from July 7th.
