How to use Picture-in-Picture Mode Video calling feature in WhatsApp:
Note: Make sure that you are having Android 8.0 Oreo running android device and your WhatsApp is updated to the latest version.
Step 1: Open or Launch WhatsApp application and then open any WhatsApp chat to any friend you wish to make a Video call to.
Step 2: Now in the chat box, tap on Video Camera Icon which is located on the top to start a video call. Tap on the Call option in the pop up box which is seen asking for confirmation to make a call.
Step 3: Now you will be seeing the Video Call has started and a full screen Video can be seen, tap on the back button once and this will minimize the screen to the right side corner of the screen as a floating window.
Step 4: You can maximize the Video call to full screen by tapping on the window.
This is a very useful feature which has been included in WhatsApp allowing users to multitask while on a video chat, you can send an email, chat with others or even just browse facebook timeline while on a video chat with someone on WhtasApp.
