Samsung releases App to Fix Missing Quick Settings Issue in Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

It looks like the flagship Samsung Galaxy s6 and S6 Edge users will be getting relief from the missing settings in quick settings panel like the mobile data, mobile hotspot and private hotspot options. We were expecting Samsung to fix the issue with the help of an OTA update but instead the company has released an App named  “Quick Panel Restore” which is available to be installed from the Galaxy Play Store which is specific to Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

And coming to the simple steps which should be followed to Restore the missing Quick Settings in your Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge follow this:

From your Galaxy App store in your device search for “Quick Panel Restore” App

Install the application on your device.

After installation tap on it to launch it

You will be getting and blue page with a Restore option

Tap on it and you will be getting a pop up with the text “Uninstall App – Quick Panel Restore will be uninstalled”

Tap on the “Uninstall” option to remove the app

And you are done by following the above mentioned steps you have restored the missing quick settings in your devices. Now you can go to the toggle options and see that the missing quick settings are back like the mobile data, mobile hotspot and private hotspot options. In some devices if the settings are not yet restored just reboot the device and they must be back. If the problem still persists then follow the above steps once again.
