Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update in Russia

The company’s latest premium smartphone the Galaxy Note 4 which was launched late last year with the earlier version of Android which was Kitkat 4.4 out of the box was later updated with Android 5.0 through an OTA update. There is yet another update coming to Galaxy Note 4 users which is the latest Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update.

The devices in Russia have started receiving it and users from other countries might as well be in line to receive the update in the near future. This update seems to be in testing phase and there is no need to worry that you are not getting the update early as the early testing phase updates are with bugs and errors which are used to test.

Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update for Note 4

The final or enhanced version of the update will be launched after the bugs have been fixed and that is when the Global update takes place. We have heard that the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 will be coming with the usual bug fixes and will also help in improving the performance of the device.

It seems that Samsung has been testing out the Lollipop 5.1.1 update from quite some time and it has released it in the Russian market for the Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C) model owners. It is clear that all the top end smartphones will be the first to receive the latest updates and it is the same case in terms of Note 4 as well with the Lollipop 5.1.1 being rolled out for it ahead of most of the devices.

The global release is not yet confirmed and we will be reporting it to your once we have any official news about it and if the release will be country wise or Worldwide. It will be most likely an OTA update and will show up as a notification on your smartphone.
