Solution to the Slow charging problem in Galaxy Note 3:

You need to first connect and try charging and look at the battery icon on right side top of your screen, if there is a red “X” mark across the charger icon then it means that it is not charging properly. There can be a problem with the Charger or the Cables USB 3 and USB 2.

Now what you have to do it borrow a USB 2 or 3 cable from someone using Samsung devices, every other person nowadays has a Samsung device so finding it wont be a problem.

Try to connect this USB cable with your charger and connect it to your Note 3 and see if there is a red cross across the battery icon and if the charging if happening fast or still slow. It is works then the problem is with your charger cable and you need to replace it. If the problem persists then follow the next step.

If the charging is still slow then take a Charger (atleast 2.1 amps) and try to connect with your USB cable and charge you device. If the problem persists even after this then it might be a problem with the Battery of your Note 3.

If you want to get a new battery it is available online or if your device is under warranty you can go to the Service center and get replaced.

If you are wondering what the difference is between USB 3 and USB 2, there is no much difference in charging capacity until you have a 2.1 amps charger but the difference is seen while connecting it to your computer or Laptop and when you are transferring data and also the charging rates are higher (900ma) than that of USB 2 when connected to your Laptop or Computer.
