Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro launched in India with Samsung Pay, starting at Rs. 17,900

Samsung has launched two new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro in India priced at Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900 respectively. Samsung has launched the Samsung Pay Mini payment solution. Samsung Pay was earlier restricted to certain smartphones, with Pay Mini, any Android smartphone having HD resolution display and running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS or above will be supporting it.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max

Samsung Pay will be arriving on Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max through Samsung Pay Mini payment solution for the first time. Coming to the Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max, both come with the latest J series design concept having a front facing fingerprint sneor and rounded borders with very thin bezels.

Specifications of Galaxy J7 Pro:

It sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1280×1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU, which is paired with 3GB RAM. The Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed by a 3,600 mAh battery.

Specifications of Galaxy J7 Max:

It sports a 5.7-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by an 1.6GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6757V processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using MicroSD card. The Galaxy J7 Max sports a 13-megapixel shooter with LED Flash on the rear as well as on the front panel. Both front and back camera will have a LED flashlight as well. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is powered by a 3300mAh battery. Besides, the smartphone offers Smart Glow 2.0 which was seen in the Galaxy J series smartphones, Samsung Pay Mini, 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM and all basic connectivity functions.

Pricing of Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro:

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is priced at Rs. 20,900 while the Galaxy J7 Max is priced at Rs. 17,900. Both devices will be available in Gold and Black colors.
