Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime with 5-inch HD display and Android Nougat 7.0 unveiled

Samsung after launching their Flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have now launched a mid range smartphone in the U.S, the Galaxy J3 Prime which comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Samsung has launched the smartphone through T-Mobile and Metro PC’s in the U.S. When coming to the specifications, the Galaxy J3 Prime comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 SoC coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of in-built storage, which is expandable further via microSD card up to 128GB.

Samsung Galaxy J3 comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. These specifications are seen in entry level smartphones these days. The smartphones comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and it will be one of the cheapest smartphones to come with Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity features. The devices comes with a 2600mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime is priced at $150 ($139 or Rs. 9,600 in retail) without contract and with a 24-month contract option of $6 per month available from T-Mobile and Metro PCS. It is available in Black color. Metro PCS is offering the device at a discounted price of $69 with some amazing discounts. The availability of the device in India and other countries is not clear at the moment.
