OPPO and Amazon India had earlier this month introduced a new smartphone brand, the Realme and their first smartphone, the Realme 1 has been launched in India today. The Realme 1 sports a 6-inch FHD+ display with 84.8% screen to body ratio having 1.98mm slim bezels and no it does not come with a top bezel. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor and comes with three variants – 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM along with 23GB, 64GB and 256GB storage options.
The RealMe 1 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.0 on top. It comes with a glossy back along with symmetrical design to give the diamond-like reflection on the back. The RealMe 1 sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP camera on the front. It comes with Face Unlock feature and this can be a useful feature as there is no Fingerprint sensor on the device.

The Realme 1 smartphone comes with 3410mAh battery and it is said to come with AL battery management which is said to learn your habits and patterns over time and snooze or close inactive apps to save power. With the improved power management, it is said to give 15 hours of battery life even with heavy use.
The realme 1 is priced at Rs. 8,990 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, Rs. 10990 for the 4GB/64GB storage variant and Rs. 13,990 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It is available in Moonlight Silver and Diamond black color. The device will be available on sale from Amazon.in starting from May 25th. The company announced that it has 500 service centers across India and promises 1-hour guaranteed service for most issues.
