Oppo will be releasing its N1 mini in India on 11th August and the invites for the launch event are already being distributed with the tagline “Mini in Size, Max on fun” with Sonam kapoor holding the phone taking a selfie with its trademark rotating 13MP camera.
The N1 Mini was released in Malasyia and Oppo mobiles Indian twitter handle showed a sneak peak of the N1 Mini and also said that a revolutionary 24 Mega pixels Ultra HD camera which will be coming soon.
Oppo N1 Mini was released in China along with Oppo R3, and in Malaysia the device has been a good success and with the kind of specifications it is offered it will be a great addition to the already competitive Indian market.
The specifications of Oppo N1 Mini are that it measures 148.4×72.2×9.2mm and weighs 150 grams and runs on Android Jellybean 4.3 and it has a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) and the device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and 1.6 GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU and having 2GB of RAM. The main feature of the smartphone is the presence of a swivel 13 MP camera which has a Sony IMX214 sensor with LED flash. The company on its twitter handle has said that the camera can capture images upto 24 MP in the Ultra HD mode. It has 16 GB of internal memory and runs on a 2140 mAh battery.
The device was priced at RM 1,398 in Malaysia which is approximately Rs. 26,700 INR. Oppo has released many devices in India like Find 7and Oppo N1 which were not as popular as the company would have liked which might be due to the fact that the pricing was a bit on the higher side. So let’s hope that N1 Mini will be priced aptly and will be a success in the Indian market.
