OnePlus has announced their latest Flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6 at an event in London. The OnePlus 6 comes with the Notch on top of the display which has become a must-have in all devices in 2018, it comes with a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display and the company is still using the FHD+ resolution with the screen to body ratio of 84% and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB and 8GB RAM options available. The storage options are 64GB for the 6GB RAM variant while the 8GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage.
OnePlus has introduced a Glass bakc panel in the OnePlus 6 for the first time in their flagship devices which are known for their sandstone back. The back Glass also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Mirror Black color comes with a thin layer of film underneath the glass to create a sense of depth as light and shadow move on the device. It comes in three color options – Midnight Black, limited-edition Silk White version and Matte Black. The OnePlus 6 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box with OxygenOS 5.1 on top, the company mentioned that Android P will be available on the device starting this week and a stable version of Android P will be rolled out later this year.

OnePlus 6 comes with a 16MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS, EIS, the secondary 20MP camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, 480 fps slo-mo at 720p, 240 fps at 1080p, 4k at 60 fps. The sensor is said to be 19% bigger than the OnePlus 5T and it is said to help in low light photography. The front camera is the same as the one on OnePlus 5T, a 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, OnePlus has mentioned that Portrait mode will be made available through a software update to the front camera.
The OnePlus 6 comes with it popular Dash Charge technology for the 3,300 mAh battery which is said to give a day worth of charge in just 30 minutes. The device comes with a 5V 4A fast charger and they also mentioned that the charging wire also is Dash charge supportive.
OnePlus 6 is priced at $529 or Rs. 35,000 approximately for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at $579. The top end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at $629 which is approximately Rs. 42,500 in Midnight Black color only and will be available from June 5th. the other two variants are available in Mirro Black, Midnight Black and limited-edition Silk white colors available from May 22nd .
