OnePlus had launched their latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5 last week and the device has now received its second OS update – OxygenOS 4.5.2 which brings in many optimizations and fixes App installation issue etc. OnePlus has released their first OS update, the OxygenOS 4.5.1 before the launch of the device in the market.
List of Optimizations for OnePlus 5 with OxygenOS 4.5.2 update – Camera, Bluetooth stability, Network stability, System stability and compatibility with 3rd party apps. There were the optimizations which were sent to OnePlus 5 with the first update as well.
One of the major bug which has been fixed with this update is the – App Installation issue which was reported by many users who faced this issue while installing applications. Surprisingly, the other bug fix is for System update failure which is now fixed with the latest update.
OxygenOS 4.5.2 update for OnePlus 5 is just 36MB in size, which is a lot smaller in size as compared to the OxygenOS 4.5.1 update which was 159MB in size, but it still has the same May 2017 Android security update. The update is said to be rolling out in phases and if you have not yet received the OTA update keep checking as you might be receiving it in the coming days.
The OnePlus 5 is a Flagship competitor with great specifications like the latest 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with 64 or 128 GB storage variants. The other great addition to the device is the Dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera set up along with a 16MP front facing camera. The OnePlus 5 on the display aspect still sports a FullHD 5.5-inch AMOLED display which is not at par with the Quad HD displays of the other Flagships like the LG G6 or Samsung Galaxy S8. OnePlus has also raised the price of the OnePlus 5 crossing the 30k mark with the 6GB RAM + 64GB variant priced at Rs. 32,999 while the8GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 37,999.
