Just some time back we have seen the photo captured from the front camera of the OnePlus 3 and now the specifications of the OnePlus 3 have been revealed by Evan Blass of @evleaks. There have been numerous leaks and rumors going around and slowly the leaks are gaining momentum with most of the stuff about the phone being revealed including the live images of OnePlus 3 showing the metal body and new design.
Now looking at the information shared by Evan Blass the OnePlus 3 is said to sport a 5.5-inch HD display and not 5-inch display as rumored earlier. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and comes with 64GB storage space, there is no information about the RAM of the device. The camera is a 16MP shooter on the rear and as seen earlier from the camera samples leak the front camera will be an 8MP shooter. The device comes with NFC as well.
All these specifications are expected and what is surprising is the screenshot of an unknown device which is suspected to be the OnePlus 3 running on Android N with OxygenOS version 3.1.0 and the same has been mentioned by Evan Blass stating SS from an N preview build. It will be great to see the device coming out with Android N out of the box making it one of the first devices to come with the stable Android N build.
This also makes it clear that OnePlus 3 will be launched either along with or after the Android N launch which might make its release, not until late summer. The other specs which has been doing rounds are the 4GB RAM and also a 6GB RAM variant which is unlikely along with the USB Type-C port. The Android N build might be in testing phase and the device might ship with Android Marshmallow and will be updated to Android N on its release in late summer. We have to wait for the official update about the release date.
