OnePlus has started rolling out the latest OxygenOS 3.5.5 update which brings in a lot of new feature to the company’s previous flagship with the most important update being the inclusion of VoLTE support. This will surely bring a smile for Jio users as now the device will be supporting free calls from Jio. The other features which is update is bringing to the device are listed below –
OnePlus 2 which was released last year in August did not get the amount of success which the OnePlus One or the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T has received. OnePlus 2 sports a Full HD 5.5-inch display powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The OnePlus 2 was launched with Android v5.1 and has been later upgraded to Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow update.

If you are updating to the new Firmware and plan to go back or revert to OxygenOS v3.1.0 the company warns that this might lead to errors in WIFI and Network connectivity, it is also being mentioned that there might be problems with Fingerprint sensor with the downgrade. With the new update there are many UI changes along with many bug fixes and December security patch has also been added. It is important to note that with the update many of the phones settings like device name, ringtones etc will be reset.
