Nokia has launched a new variant of the Nokia 8.1, which now comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. Nokia had launched the Nokia 8.1 back in December with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The latest 6GB variant will be available for sale from next week. The Nokia 8.1 sports a 6.18-inch fullHD+display with 1080×2244 pixels resolution having an aspect ratio of 18:7:9 with HDR10 support. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage space which can be expanded using microSD card up to 400GB.
The Nokia 8.1 6GB variant comes with the same dual rear camera setup with Zeiss optics comprising a 12 MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary fixed-focus lens for depth sensing. It also supports OIS, EIS, and a dual-LED flash. Up front, it has a 20MP selfie camera.
It runs on Android 9 Pie stock variant as it is under the Android One program which is expected to get timely updates for up to 2 years without fail. The device comes with 4G VoLTE, VoWiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port connectivity features. It is powered by a 3500mAh battery and supports fast charging, an 18W fast charger is supplied in the box.

Nokia 8.1 6GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999 and will be available from February 1st. The device is available in Blue/Silver and Iron/Steel color options. It comes with launch offers like Airtel prepaid customers will get up to 1TB 4G data on eligible packs from Rs. 199. Airtel Postpaid customers will get 120GB additional data, 3 months of Netflix and one-year Amazon Prime subscription.
There is an additional exchange discount of Rs. 2,500 between Feb 6 and Feb 17 and Rs. 1,500 discount between Feb 18 and Feb 28 on Amazon.in. HDFC Bank customers will get 10 percent cashback from Feb 6 to 17 and 5 percent cashback from Feb 18 to 28 on EMI transactions. Buyers will get Rs. 3,000 gift card on Nokia store.
