Nokia has announced a host of devices at the reintroduction of the company in MWC 2017, there are three smartphones Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 and one feature phone – Nokia 3310. The company has showcased the Nokia 6 at CES 2017 earlier this year and has launched in China with tremendous success. The company has shown how the phones are built to last with the CNC manufacturing and anodized process with the devices being built from solid blocks of aluminum making them sturdy and solid which they have been known for.
For the three smartphones, Nokia has mentioned that they will be keeping the Android OS experience as pure as possible and will be sending out monthly security updates to keep your device safe and also make sure that all the Google software updates are timely sent to devices. One more thing to note is that all the three devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat and all three devices will be coming with Google Assistant built in. All of us might be well aware of the device as it was announced last month at CES 2017 by Nokia and has been launched in China, the company has mentioned that they have received close to 2.5 million bookings for Nokia 6 in China which shows how well the company is looked up to into the market. With MWC 2017 Nokia 6 will be available in other markets as well and is priced at 229 Euros or $241 (Rs. 16,000 INR). Nokia has announced a Special Edition in Arte Black color with 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage at 299 Euros or US$ 315 (Rs. 21,000) which will be available globally from second Quarter 2017. At first glance, you will see the resemblance to Lumia series smartphones in the Nokia 5 in terms of design concept. It comes with a 5.2-inch HD sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display and Nokia has mentioned that it is made out of a single block of aluminum giving it added durability, the antenna lines have been placed on the top and bottom of the device to give the back a pretty impressive clean and neat look. It is powered by a Qualcomm SD 430 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor located in the Home button below the display.
The Nokia 5 sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera. The Nokia 5 also comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and the company has decided to keep it clean. It is available in Blue, black, silver, copper and matte black colors. Nokia 5 is priced at Euros 189 which is approximately Rs. 13,300 and will be available from second Quarter of 2017.
This is the budget level smartphone Nokia, which comes with a 5-inch HD 2.5D sculpted corning Gorilla Glass display powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. Nokia 3 also comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box which is pretty impressive and will be sporting an 8MP rear and 8MP front facing cameras. It is powered by a 2650 mAh battery. Nokia 3 will be available in Silver, White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White colors and priced at Euros 129 which is approximately Rs. 9500.
All three devices are said to be available Globally from Q2 of 2017 and the company has not yet mentioned the details about the launch date to specific demographic areas where it will be launched.
