HMD Global has announced a new variant of the Nokia 3310 smartphone, which comes with 4G VoLTE support which also gives the user an option to use it as a WiFi hotspot. The device is being launched in two colors – Deep Black and Fresh Blue. The earlier Nokia 3310 was launched with only 2G support. The Nokia 3310 4G VoLTE variant sports a 2.4-inch QVGA curved window color display with 240×320 pixels resolution.
The device comes with 256MB of RAM in comparison to the 16MB RAM in the 2G variant. It comes with 512 MB of storage which can be expanded using microSD card up to 64GB. It comes with a 2MP rear camera with LED flash.

The Nokia 3310 runs on YunOS which is a forked version of Android built by Chinas Alibaba. The device comes with a 1200mAh battery which is said to give up to 5 hours of talk time on 4G VoLTE network and 16 hours of music playback on a single charge. It comes with 3.5mm Audio jack with a built-in MP3 player for music.
The pricing of the device along with the Global launch is expected in MWC 2018 later this year. The availability in India will be announced at MWC.
