Nexus Sailfish surface on GFXBench with Snapdragon 820 SoC and Android Nougat OS

There have been many leaks regarding the two new Nexus devices for the year 2016 showing the various design along with the UI but the latest listing which is revealing almost all the details about the Nexus Sailfish is spotted on GFXBench. From the listing the details like the  Display, CPU or Processor, GPU, RAM, Storage, Camera and the sensors and other details about the device have been revealed.

From the listing we can see that the device comes with a 5-inch Full HD display making it the smaller variant of the two Nexus devices to be launched this year. It will be powered by the latest quad core 2.1GHz Snapdragon 820 Processor with Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

From the listing we can see that the device sports a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, auto focus and capable of recording UHD or 4K videos. The front camera is a 7MP shooter capable of Full HD video recording. From the other rumors we can be sure that the device will be coming with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and it comes with sensors like accelerometer, barometer, Bluetooth 4.1, compass, GPS, gyroscope, light sensor, NFC, pedometer, proximity sensor and WiFi. It is interesting to see that the device supports only one SIM card.

The battery in the device is expected to be 2770mAh which is decent enough for a device with the above specifications and it supports USB Type-C. The other device is the Marlin, both of which are being manufactured by HTC and we are expecting both the devices to be officially unveiled sometime next month. There are no updates about the Sailfish revealed at the moment but we are expecting it to be an upgrade to the Nexus 6P and hope it packs a camera as good or better than the Nexus 6P looking at what standards Galaxy S7 has set in the camera segment.
