Motorola has started rolling out their latest Android 9.0 Oreo OS update to the Motorola One Power smartphone via OTA. Motorola One Power comes under the Android One platform which was launched in September earlier this year in India. With One Power being under the Android One Platform it is expected to even receive Android Q update when it is launched. The phone will also be getting security updates for three years which is quite impressive and will keep the phone updated.
What is new in Android Pie 9.0 update for Motorola One Power?
- Improved battery life (it was quite good with 5000mAh battery)
- Dual VoLTE for both SIM cards
- Improved Camera performance – panorama and improved low light photography
- New UI – revamped split-screen and redesigned Quick settings menu
- Navigation is changed
- Improved Do Not Disturb mode
This is a pretty decent update which has many small but useful updates to the smartphone. Along with Motorola One Power Moto X4, Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play have also started receiving the android Pie OS update.
Motorola One Power comes with some impressive specifications such as 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD Max Vision display having a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with an Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with dual rear cameras including a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, with support for 4K video recording. At the front, there is a 12-megapixel sensor. The phone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). It is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with a 15W TurboPower fast-charger.
The Android 9.0 Pie OS update for the Motorola One Power will be reaching every user in the coming couple of days as it is an incremental release. The Motorola One Power is available exclusively on Flipkart and is priced at Rs. 15,999.
