Motorola Moto G4 Plus vs Lenovo Zuk Z1 vs Redmi Note 3 Comparison – Differences and Similarities

Motorola has launched two new smartphones, the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus in the Moro G series. Motorola has managed to price the Moto G4 lower by not including certain features in it like the Fingerprint sensor, less RAM and lower Camera specs. The Moro G4 Plus on the other hand comes with FPS, 16MP camera and 3GB of RAM which keeps in a position competing with the ZUK Z1 by Lenovo and the Redmi Note 3 which is priced much lower but has similar specifications at offer.

So let us compare the three devices in a tabular comparison showing the specifications in detail.

Display :

All three devices come with similar Display size and resolution of 5.5-inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution. There is not much of a difference in terms of the resolution and size so all three devices fare in a similarly in this aspect.

Coming to the performance, the Lenovo ZUK Z1 leads the race with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM compared to the Redmi Note 3 having a 1.8GHz Snapdraogn 650 SoC with 3GB RAM and the Moto G4 Plus powered by the Snapdragon 617 SoC with 3GB of RAM. On paper the ZUK Z1 wins here but in reality it is said that the SD 650 SoC is similar in performance to the SD 801 SoC. In any case the ZUK Z1 is the winner here in terms of performance.


The Moto G4 Plus has better specs in terms of camera with a 16MP rear camera with Laser Autofocus and the front 8MP camera comes with wide angle lens giving it an advantage over the other. The ZUK Z1 comes second with a 13MP rear camera with OIS and f/2.2 aperture along with the 8MP front facing camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. With camera samples comparison the Moto G4 Plus was the better of the three and the ZUK Z1 came in second in terms of the camera.


The Moto G4 Plus comes last in this aspect with a smaller 3000mAh battery although it has turbo charge feature. The ZUK Z1 comes with a 4100mAh battery compared to the 4050mAh battery in the Redmi Note 3. The ZUK Z1 and the Redmi Note 3 come with Quick charge option as well.


All three devices are equally placed in terms of specifications with Fingerprint sensor in all three. The Redmi Note 3 is the cheapest of the three devices priced at Rs. 11,999 with the ZUK Z1 priced at 13,499 while the Moto G4 is the costliest at Rs. 14,999. In terms of availability and service the Moto G4 stands in front but when it comes with performance and other aspects put all together the ZUK Z1 stands out of the three devices with better specs and better battery along with Cynogenmod OS which gives it the edge.
