Motorola Moto E3 Power vs Moto G4 Play vs Xiaomi Redmi 3s Comparison and Differences

Motorola has launched two smartphones targeting the budget segment with the Moto E3 Power and the Moto G4 Play being closely priced and even having a lot of specifications in common making it a difficult choice for consumers. One another contender is the Redmi 3s from Xiaomi which comes under the same price bracket but with better specifications.

All three devices are price aggressively and come with good specifications making it a difficult choice to choose from the three. But as we know Xiaomi is known for giving the most for the price while Moto devices are known for their good build and the no-nonsense User Interface with Stock Android being given. So let me put it into perspective which is best in what and based on that you can decide what suits you the best.

All three devices come with the same display so there is nothing much here to differentiate. When coming to the processor the Redmi 3s is ahead with an octa-core SD 430 SoC powering it in comparison the Moto E3 power is powered by a Mediatek processor and the Moto G4 Play comes with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm SD 410 SoC. This gives the Redmi 3s a slight edge in performance at the same time  being cheaper of the three by a good Rs. 1000.  All three devices come with 2 GB RAM for the base variant in the Redmi 3s and the other devices have only 2GB RAM option. The Moto E3 power and Moto G4 Play come with 16GB internal storage with expandable storage option while the Redmi 3s comes with 32GB storage.

Even though the Redmi 3s has higher resolution rear camera both the devices are capable of taking great captures.

With the Moto E3 Power stressing on the battery, it is worth noticing that the Redmi 3s is the one with a bigger 4100mAh battery compared to the 3500mAh battery in the Moto E3 power with the Moto G4 Play coming last with a 2800mAh battery. With the Redmi 3s having a higher end variant with 3GB RAM and a Fingerprint sensor priced at Rs. 8,999 which is equal to the Moto G4 Play it is quite obvious which device is the winner here. Redmi 3S is the sure winner in all aspects and even the lower end variant priced at Rs. 6,999 is ahead of the Moto E3 Power and Moto G4 Play.
