Is it worth buying the Moto G5 Plus?
The Moto G5 Plus is a good upgrade from the previous years Moto G4 Plus in terms of build quality, performance, and camera. Gone is the plastic back panel replaced with a metal back giving it a more premium feel. The camera is now in the style of Moto G Play. The SD 625 SoC is known to be a good performer and also power efficient.
In terms of Software, it runs on Stock Android Nougat with the best feature being Google Assistant available out of the box. With these features and improvements it is surely a good device to consider in this price range but with the competition like the Honor 6X, Redmi Note 4 and the Nokia 6 having better specs on paper it is a matter of personal choice.
