With all manufacturers fearing up to release the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update to their devices, one of the first manufacturers – HTC who released a list of devices to get the update have now officially released a list of devices and the timeline for the update to start rolling out. The devices which are now entitled to get the update are HTC 10, One A9 and One M9 smartphones. The earlier list also included the One M8 as one of the devices to get the update but this now seems to have not been included in the first batch of devices to be getting the Android N update.
While Sony has also confirmed last month that this Xperia X and Z5 series of devices will be getting the update have now confirmed the list of devices and a timeline for the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update to start rolling out. The timeline for each series of Sony devices has a specific timeframe to receive the update with some devices getting the update in early 2017 as well.

- HTC 10
- HTC One A9
- HTC One M9
List of Sony device to get Android 7.0 Nougat update in 2016 / 2017:
- Xperia XZ and X Performance – October 2016
- Xperia X and Xperia X compact – November
- Xperia Z5 series, Xperia Z3+, and Xperia Z4 Tablet – December
- Xperia XA and XA Ultra – early 2017
The devices by Sony to get the update has not been revealed officially but accidentally at its Slovakia press conference which are similar to the list of devices which have been revealed by the company earlier. This confirms in a way that these will be devices to be getting the update along with a definitive timeline as well.
HTC has earlier showcased the three devices mentioned in the list on their official twitter handle with the tweet “We’re excited to receive final shipping Android 7.0 Nougat software from Google” with the image of the three devices HTC 10, HTC One M9 unlocked and HTC One A9 unlocked.
