Motorola has teased in a Youtube Video a major comeback of their iconic flip smartphone, the Moto RAZR 3 which was one of their most popular mobiles in the past. Motorola which is not a part of Lenovo added a video advertisement teasing with the Moto RAZR V3 in the video. The video shows a date in the end of June 9, 2016 which certainly points at the launch date of the latest version of the Lenovo-Motrola RAZR V3.
Morotola RAZR V3 sold over 130 million units across the globe after its launch. We have been seeing in recent updates about a new lineup by Motorola called Moto Z which might be the one being launched on June 9th having a Flip phone in similar design lines as the Motorola RAZR V3.
Lenovo has announced recently that the Flagship line up series Moto X will be replaced with Moto Z and we are thinking this ad is being targeted at that. There has been a VentureBeat report which points at two flagship phones in the Moto Z lineup both having 5.5-inch display and have code named them as Vertex and Vector Thin. We can expect any of the two devices to be a Flip phone similar to the Moto RAZR V3 or will it be an entirely different line up.
It is not the first time that we are seeing Flip phones with Touch screen running on Android Operating system. Some major smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and LG have already introduced smartphones with Flip phones having dual touch display. With the Launch date of the new lineup coming near we can expect more details to leak out ahead of the official launch of the mystery device by Lenovo-Motorola.
