Lenovo is up and active with the launch of its Flagship device called Vibe X2. The device is being launched in the IFA event which is scheduled to be on September 4th and the invites for the same have been sent out.
Lenovo which had sent out its invitations and there was a fun factor where Lenovo was taking a Jibe at Apple who recently sent out their invitations for the event on 9th september where supposedly the iPhone 6 will be released. Leneovo in their invite poked at Apple by saying that “We can’t say anything either” and there is a Lollipop with the Vibe X2 written on it, which I am thinking is suggesting that Vibe X2 or the flagship Lenovo smartphone will be coming with Android Lollipop.
Vibe X2 features and Specifications:
The device will be coming in two variants the powerful one sporting a Octa-core processor and the other one with Dual-core processor, but both the devices are going to have other similarities like a 5-inch Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixel (1080p) display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory along with 13MP rear camera with LED and Full HD video recording along with a 5MP front camera. And the device will be running on 2,250 mAh battery which is quite low for a such well equipped device. The device is having a layering design with two layers of the side of the device can be distinguished with teo different colors which looks quite odd.
Lenovo which recently announced a 6 inch Phablet named the Vibe Z2 pro which was sporting a massive 400 mAh battery and a great design is now bringing a lot of expectations to this device which is going to be Lenovo’s flagship device. Lenovo is doing great in China but in the other parts of the world it has to catch up and hope this device can make that happen.
According to sources the device will be priced very aggressively to keep a share in the already competitive market and you can see the launch and the official specifications of the device in IFA which will be happening in teh first week of September in Berlin.
