Lenovo which is one of the leading brands in China has launched a smartphone to compete in the Budget category where devices like Xiaomi Redmi 1s and Yu Yureka launched by Micromax have captured. Lenovo is going to come out with a device to take this segment by storm by launching the Lenovo K 3 which is having some amazing features as seen in its release in China. The features and specifications of Lenovo K3 are as follows:
It comes with a 5 inch display having HD or 720p resolution and is powered by a Quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and having a A53 chipset with adreno 306 GPU. The device runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.4 with Lenovo’s Vibe UI over it.
The Quadcore processor and the 5 inch display are supported by 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using micro SD card support. The device comes with 8MP rear or primary camera with flash and 2MP front camera.
All the other general features in smartphones like 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth are present and it supporting 4G is most appealing in this price segment. Looking at the pricing which Lenovo have put in China which is at CNY 599 which comes in the below $100 category or around Rs. 6000 category makes it more competitive and with the features at offer at this price it is going to be a wonderful device in the Indian market if Lenovo is able to launch it in a similar price range.
With the budget segment for smartphones started by the Moto E and then later Xiaomi Redmi 1s and Note and other devices like the Asus and now Huawei devices are making this segment more and more competitive and the benefits are being enjoyed by the users.
