LeEco has been way ahead of every other company in terms of innovating by being the first to remove the 3.5mm audio jack and being one the first to bring a smartphone with 6GB RAM. The company is now going ahead with the same mantra and is offering their next smartphone the LeEco Le Pro 3 which was earlier expected to be named as Le 2S Pro with a massive 8GB RAM which looks pretty dope on paper but in reality is not practical.
Like earlier with the LeMax 2 which the company launched in 2 variants – 6GB RAM and 4 GB RAM the Le 3 Pro will be launched with 8GB and 6GB options. The Le Pro 3 is also going to be one of the first devices to come with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with a massive 8GB of RAM. LeEco us expected to launch the device at an event being conducted on September 21st in China.
The LeEco Pro 3 will be sporting a 16 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 MP front camera to click selfies. It will be sporting a similar display as the LeMax 2 with a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 5000 mAH battery capacity and will come with 4G VoLTE support.
The difference between the two variants is going to be the RAM and battery capacity which are 256 GB and enormous 5000 mAH battery capacity in the 8GB variant. There seems to be a change in design as well when compared to the previous generation design from the leaked images we can see that there are rounded borders for the device and looks more refined.
As per the listing, the LeEco Pro 3 6GB variant is priced at RMB 2999. The exact pricing is yet not shared but can be expected to be close to Rs. 30,000.
