HTC One M8 gets Android 4.4.3 KitKat update along with 4G LTE network support

HTC M8 will be getting the latest update of the Android 4.4.3 update which is the 2.10.720.1 version of the update. The update brings a lot of tweaks and improvements to the OS but nothing cosmetic. Camera, Gallery and Settings App have got some improvements and new features with this update.

The update brings an improvement in OpenSSL security which will help to counter the Heartbleed bug and along with this the update now makes the M8 to support 4G LTE network so from now you can use 4G network on your HTC M8 device. The HTC M8 device in India supports 2300 Mhz 4G LTE network which is available only by Airtel in selected places like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Phagwara, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, Nagpur and Nasik.

The update is having a file size of 658.88 MB which should be downloaded and installed only under WiFi or a trusted 3G network which you know will not be interrupted, and also make sure that you back up all the important data before starting the update.

So if you are an M8 owner and are from any of the places mentioned above in which Airtel is providing the 4G LTE service then after installing the update you can take the 4G pack available in Airtel and enjoy 4G speeds on your HTC M8 and show off to your friends who are still stuck in 3G with their high end smartphones.

The main feature of this update is the inclusion of the Heartbleed Bug fix and the inclusion of 4G LTE Network support on the device.
