HTC desire 820 and Desire 820q
HTC has just announced three smartphones in India HTC desire 820, Desire 820q and Desire 816G The HTC Desire 820 and 820q are the quad-core devices which will be available in the Indian market from November. Along with these devices there was another device which is an only 3G enabled version of the HTC desire 816 named Desire 816G.
Lets look at the features and specifications of the three devices which were unveiled today, HTC 820 comes with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC which is actually 1.5GHz quad-core + 1.0GHz quad-core and it runs on Kitkat 4.4 it sports a 5.5 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Desire 820 runs on 2GB RAM and has an internal memory of 16 GB. The device has a 13MP primary camera and an impressive 8MP front camera. The battery is 2600mAh and gives sufficient power to the device which gives up to 22 hours (3G) of talk time and 42 hours (3G) of standby time.
HTC Desire 820q has some similar decent specifications and features having a 5.5 inch HD display having 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, it has 1.2 GHz quad-core processor similar to the Desire 820. The camera specifications are also similar with a 13MP Rear or Primary camera and 8MP front facing camera. It has 1GB of RAM and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 having 16GB of internal memory. the battery is also the same one with 2600mAh which gives 22 hours of talktime and 420 hours of standby time.
HTC Desire 816g
Antoher device which was announced was the HTC desire 816G which is also having similar specifications will be priced similarly to the Desire 816 which was released earlier this year for Rs. 23,999. The only difference with the earlier model is that it is solely 3G enabled device and will be having a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, instead of the Desire 816’s 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU.
