Zoom has turned out to be one of the most used Video Conferencing platforms used across the world for official purposes. The number of users of Zoom has shot up due to the recent Coronacirus outbreak which has made Work From Home a must for all Software companies across the world. Zoom is available across all platforms and it makes it very easy to make conference calls using your smartphone to PC or Laptop. Zoom App (Android App, iOS App)gives an option to record your conference or meeting calls directly to your smartphone which can be accessed later.
Note: For enabling the option to record Zoom Meeting on your smartphone you need to have paid membership of the app. This gives your cloud storage which is where the recordings are stored.
How to Record and Save Zoom meetings on Android or iOS smartphone:
Step 1: Launch Zoom App on your smartphone
Step 2: Now start a new meeting or join an existing meeting
Step 3: Tap on the horizontal three-dot icon on the bottom right corner of the screen to open a Drop up menu
Step 4: On the top of the menu, you can see the option – Record (paid membership only) tap on it (Android). For (iOS) you need to tap on Record to the Cloud.
Step 5: The recording will start and you can see the recording icon on the top right of the screen.
Step 6: To stop recording you can tap on the icon on the top right corner of the screen and the drop up box opens and you can either pause or stop the recording.
Make sure that you record only the part of the meeting you require as the cloud storage available is limited and you will require additional storage. You can disconnect audio while recording the Video, the app also gives users an option to convert the Speech in Video into text that you have recorded on cloud storage. There is an option that lets you change the Zoom meeting background in your Zoom App for your PC, Mac or mobile.
