The latest entrant into the budget fitness brand segment is the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 which was launched in India at a price of Rs. 1,999 on Mi.com and Amazon.in. If you are planning to receive one or purchased the device and want to pair your Mi Band 3 to your Android or iPhone using the Mi Fit App. The Mi Band 3 comes with a 0.78-inch OLED display with touchscreen and displays Call and Notification Alert. It comes with Continuous Heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, advanced sleep tracking features. It comes with 20 days of battery life. It is Water resistant as well up to 5ATM or 50 meters. You also get Phone Unlock feature for Android devices but not for Apple iPhone.
How to pair Xiaomi Mi Band 3 to your Android or iPhone:
The first Step you need to do is to Install the Mi Fit App on your Android device or iOS smartphone.
Step 1: Launch the Mi Fit App
Step 2: Register or Login using your Mi Account or Google or Facebook accounts.
Note: There is no need to press or do anything to your Mi Band 3 as there are no buttons and the Bluetooth connection is always ON.
Step 3: Once you have signed In, you will be seeing the option – “No paired devices“, tap on it.
Step 4: You will be seeing – Band, Watch, Scale and Smart shoes. Tap on “Band”
Note: You can only pair one Band at a time, so if you are having any other band paired to your device – Unpair it and then try pairing the Mi Band 3.
Step 5: You will be seeing the Pairing option in your Mi Band 3 display, tap and hold on it until the pairing process starts.
Step 6: You will be seeing Firmware update option if there is any new Firmware update available and once that is done, you can see the tutorial of how to use your Mi Band 3.
Step 7: You need to Long press the band button to confirm the pairing.
Once the pairing is done, you can see the details of the Mi Band 3 in your Phone – Mi Fit App. The Battery Percentage and other options will be available. Once you start using the Band all other details like – Number of Steps, Total Km, Goal etc can also be seen.
