OnePlus has not forgotten their discontinued smartphone, the OnePlus X and has started rolling out OxygenOS 3.1.2 stable update based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The update is available with all the new and latest features coming with Android Marshmallow like Launcher upgrades having new icon packs, google search bar UI customization, new design of wallpaper picker. Shelf UX improvements are also seen like Long press boards to rearrange or remove them.

There are changes in Settings as well, New app permissions along with a new Alert slider settings with more customization options. The update now comes with the latest October Android Security patch. OnePlus has released OxygenOS 2.2.3 OTA update last week to include the September Android security patch and the OxygenOS 3.1.1 Community build was also released shortly after.

OnePlus has mentioned that the update will be rolling out to all OnePlus X users in the coming couple of days and the OxygenOS 3.1.2 update comes with a size of 760MB available as an OTA update. In the OnePlus community, there are some issues mentioned faced by users such as – users need to give storage permissions to Facebook and Facebook Messenger Apps which are seen to crash while using the camera. Some users have mentioned that they are not able to see the Move to SD card option after updating but the option has been moved to – Settings > Apps > Storage and tap on Storage used tap on it and choose the required option.
