Airplane Mode is turning ON automatically in my Android device is the morning and not letting me make or receive any calls or Data and when I am trying to use my phone after leaving it unattended for a while the same problem is being faced.
I am getting a message “to place a call, first turn off Airplane mode”, was getting this message even when I have not turned on the Airplane Mode earlier and when I tried to turn OFF Airplane mode was getting this message “airplane mode is ON. You will not be able to make or receive calls when in airplane mode”, this was asked by many readers to help solve this Airplane mode problem which seems to be affecting almost all Android users irrespective of the Version of OS being used, it was reported by a Jellybean, Kitkat and Lollipop user too recently.
Why is the Airplane mode turning ON Automatically:
I have tried noting down when and at what times the Airplane mode is turning itself On automatically and I noticed that it is when the phone is not in use for a prolonged period of time like say more that 1 or 2 hours. And this problem started from when I started using a Battery Saver App called Juice Defender and this made me think about the fact that the Battery saving App might be doing more that it is required to do and turning ON Airplane mode to save more battery.
When I deactivated the Battery saving App, the Aiplane Mode was not turned on Automatically and it was back to normal. This has been seen in users who are using other battery saving Apps as well and it might be some bug in their apps or might be the device.
So if you are facing the same Error of airplane mode turning ON automatically and you are getting this Error “to place a call, first turn off Airplane mode” do not Reboot your device every time to get back the signals but simply turn off or deactivate any Battery Saving app which might be installed in your Android smartphone and it will do the trick.
