The Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro started the Full screen display with 18:9 ratio design in Xiaomi launched in February. If you are someone who does not like the On screen menu options and want to remove them, Xiaomi has made sure that you get an option called “Full Screen Gestures” which lets you to remove the menu buttons from the bottom of the screen and replace them with gesture controls.

The MIUI 9.5 OS update has started rolling out to devices like Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 all of which come with Full Screen or 18:9 aspect ratio displays. If you are having any one of these devices you can try this feature of removing the buttons and use gestures.
