Open Instagram App and then Open Camera

Now tap on the Reels option at the bottom of the screen

You will find all the options, now tap on the Audio option and select a Song using Instagram Music Library

You can set a three-second time before recording any clip, now you need to set the duration of your clip – 0.1 to 15 seconds) and then set the timer.

You can add other Effects using the icons from the left side, like Add AR effect, set speed of the Video, timer, etc can be done from the left side

Now record using the original audio by recording using Instagram music and you can select the part of the music which you want to set to your Video

In Instagram Reels the best feature is the option to choose any part of the Audio clip which you want to use, in TikTok it used to be a 30 second audio clip which you had to use.

You can even add any music to the video after recording the video as well.

Looks like Facebook which now owns Instagram has planned the release well and included some decent features to capture the market share of TikTok which is quite huge in India. With the backing of Facebook and having a huge userbase already Instagram has quite a good chance to become an alternative to TikTok in India.
