honor 8 Pro launched with 5.7 inch QuadHD display, Dual rear camera at Rs. 29,999

Honor has launched their latest smartphone, the Honor 8 Pro which is a successor to the Honor 8. The Honor 8 Pro was launched earlier this year in April in U.K and has now been officially launched in India. The device ticks all the right points and is launched in one variant – 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage. The device comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD LTPS LCD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution along with the 2.5D curved glass and 515 ppi pixel density.

The Honor 8 Pro is powered by a 2.4GHz Kirin 960 octa-core processor with Mali G71 GPU and coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. It carries the same design as its predecessor but now comes with a metallic back panel as compared to the all glass body of the Honor 8. It is sleek and very good to hold in hand and build quality is also pretty impressive.

With all the top end and even mid range smartphones sporting a dual lens camera, Honor 8 Pro also comes with dual 12 MP lenses – 12M RGB sensor and 12MP monochrome sensor with Dual LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with a rear Fingerprint sensor and also has an Infrared sensor on the top of the device.

It comes with a 4000mAh battery with fast charging and it comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC. The Honor 8 Pro comes with USB Type C port.

The Honor 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,999 and will be available on Amazon India from July 10th onwards. It is a direct competitor to the likes of OnePlus 5 which come under the similar price and specifications, with the pricing more aggressive in comparison it is going to give tough competition to the OnePlus 5.
