Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL with 5.6-inch and 6-inch OLED displays announced starting at Rs. 39999

Google has announced their entry into the ‘mid-range’ (depends on the location) segment with their latest offering – Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL which come with 5.6-inch and 6-inch OLED displays respectively having FHD+ resolutions. Both devices are powered by Snapdragon 670 SoC with 4GB RAM each. Both devices carry the same design language with no notch and a huge forehead and chin areas.

Both the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL come with 12.2 MP rear camera with LED flash along with Optical Image stabilization and Dual Pixel auto focus features, the front camera is an 8MP shooter and comes with Google’s Portrait mode for great selfies. Both devices come with AI technology which uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically detect and enhance the images. It also includes a feature called Super Res Zoom which maintains the sharpness and details even when Zoomed and their famous Night sight which lets users take bright high resolution images even in the dark.

Both devices run on Android 9.0 Pie Operating System and the Pixel 3a is powered by a 3000mAh battery while the Pixel 3a XL is powered by a 3700mAh battery, Google has mentioned that both devices support 18W fast charging which offers 7 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging. Both device come with Google’s trademark dual tone design along with polycarbonate body and active edge squeeze response.

The differences between Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are in the size of the display / device and battery capacity, rest all features are the same.

The Pixel 3a is priced at Rs. 39,999 (64GB) while the Pixel 3a XL is priced at Rs. 44,999 (64GB). The priced in India as way higher that those in the US which are priced at $399 (Rs. 27,780 approx) for the Pixel 3a and $479 (Rs. 33,350 approx.) for the Pixel 3a XL. The devices are available in Just Black, Clearly White and Pueple-ish colors.
