With the Gionee Elife E7 launched and available in the market there are leaks about their next flagship device which is the Elife E8 which was mentioned by the company that it will be launched soon. The features were leaked through the TENAA website which is the Telecommunications equipment certification centre in China.
The features which were mentioned in the site are that the device comes with a 6 inch display which comes with a resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 2GHZ processor which is mostly going to be 2.2 GHz Snapdragon Quad Core processor which is not like the one seen in the E7 which was powered by a 64 bit Octa Core MediaTek processor and will be supported by a 3GB RAM and the device comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card slot.
The device is going to be just 9.6mm thick and is equipped with a finger print scanner which is said to be placed surprisingly on the rear of the device below the Rear Camera Lens. The Gionee E8 will come with a 24MP Rear or primary camera and a 8MP front facing camera. The rear camera is having a Dual tone LED flash to help capture the image more precisely.
The SIM and connectivity specifications are not yet known and will be officially confirmed by the company. The pricing and other details of the device like the launch date and announcement date are yet to be announced by the company. From the design aspect the device seems to be in the same form factor with the candy bar design of the E7 except the Finger print scanner present on the back side of the device below the Camera Lens.
The features and the design look promising but the announcement and the launch date have to be confirmed and hope it is not anytime soon as it will affect the E7 itself.
