What are the new features added to CREO Mark 1 Fuel OS May update

CREO has launched their first smartphone, the Mark 1 which was launched last month with a custom Fuel OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. With a month passing by since the launch, the company has rolled out their first monthly Fuel OS update for the Mark 1 smartphone. During the launch of the smartphone the company had revealed the features which will be included in the update – Enhance, Data Manager, and Selfie Flash along with an upgrade to the existing Sense and Echo features and overall performance enhancements.

So let us look at all the five new changes or upgrades which the Mark 1 is going to get with the latest Fuel OS monthly upgrade. The first is Data Manager, this feature lets users save cellular data consumption by regulating data access. You get simple toggles which restricts unwanted apps from consuming data in the background, data about which is provided by the device. It is a pretty useful feature to save mobile data consumption.

Two of the five features are targetted at enhancing the Camera experience, the Enhance feature is a Quick Photo editor which lets you do the basics instantly like Crop, Adjust images, Transform and also has filters. This lets users to instantly edit photos before sharing. The second feature added to help in improving cmaera experience is the Selfie Flash  feature which lights up the display for a split second radiating a burst of light offering well-lit selfies using the front facing camera.

The Sense feature which was available earlier gets new options like real-time Calculation results, you can now WhatsApp any contact directly with a simple Double Tap on the Home Button, add a Phone number to contacts, search for Apps directly on the Play Store. The pretty productive Sense feature in Fuel OS is even more useful with the addition of these new features. The other features which gets an update is Echo which comes with added options like Free Echo Mode which directs all calls to Echo without the involvement of the user, Smart triggers automatically turns on when the phone is on Silent Mode or when an upcoming meeting is detected on the user’s calendar.

Users are allowed to set different Welcome Messages for different contacts in the phone, with new 6 Indian languages – Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada added to the list.
