With the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen launch the company has launched their third generation device in the series and there are some improvements which the company has made which are not too major or not too minor to not notice, there are no huge display changes and the hardware is not drastically changed but improved slightly. The Moto G 2nd Gen came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and the Moto G 3rd Gen has a Snapdragon 410 processor with an increase in RAM as well to 2GB RAM from 1GB RAM as seen in the Moto G 2nd Gen. The Moto G 3rd Gen comes with a 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash as compared to the 8MP camera with LED flash in the Moto G 2nd Gen. It has a 5MP front camera as compared to the 2MP camera in the moto g 2nd gen.

The Moto G third Gen comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box compared to the Moto G 2nd which came with Kitkat 4.4.4. The Moto G 3rd Gen runs on a 2470 mAh battery compared to the 2070 mAh battery of the Moto G 2nd Gen. The Moto G 3rd Gen costs Rs. 11,999 for the 8GB model as compared to the Rs. 10,999 price tag of the Moto G 2nd Gen.
