There is a new segment of low budget smartphones which was started with the launch of Intex Cloud Fx and also the announcement of Spice Fire One Mi-Fx 1 which are priced around the Rs. 2000 mark. Now there is another smartphone from Celkon running on Android which is entering this market named the Celkon Nova One. This device will be running on Android Jelly Bean making it the cheapest Android JB smartphone in the market.
The pricing is also going to be at par with the Firefox OS running handsets which is around Rs. 2,299 INR. The launch of the device will be in the second week of September the exact date of which is not yet announced.
There has been a press shot release from Celkon which is directly taunting Firefox OS run devices launched by Spice and Intex saying that it will not be a easy ride for them in the Indian market as Firefox OS is new and Android has been here from a long time.

- It comes with a 3.5 inch display
- Single Core processor
- 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of Internal memory which is very low
- The external memory can be extended upto 16GB with the help of microSD card
- It has a 2MP primary camera but there is no front facing camera
- It runs on 1400 mAh battery
The Indian market is having a blast of smartphones in all segments all of which started with the Moto G and was taken ahead with Xiaomi and Asus who started bringing low cost smartphones which are at par with top end devices in terms of specifications. The only drawback with these devices is the lack of Offline support and presence to these companies like the Samsung, Micromax, Nokia do in the Indian market.
