Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 with 6.26-inch FHD+ display, SD 660 SOC and 5000mAh battery launched at Rs. 12999

Asus has launched their latest smartphone, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 which is the successor to their hugely successful Zenfone Max Pro M1 launched last year. There are many improvements in the successor in all departments, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.26-inch FHD+ display having a notch and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection which is a first in this segment. The device is powered by an Octa core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in two variants based on RAM and Storage – 3GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB Storage, 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB storage, expandable memory upto 2TB with microSD. It comes with two nano SIM card slots and a separate microSD card slot.

The Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX486 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS, Pro Mode, secondary 5MP camera. The front camera is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and it comes with a front facing Flash which is a new addition when compared to its predecessor.

The Fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the device, the back panel is glossy and has a 3D glass like wave design. Both the SIM cards support 4G VoLTE and it comes with a 5000mAh battery which does not support fast charging and comes with a micro USB port and not USB Type-C. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box which is said to be updated to Android Pie in the coming days.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the base 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 14,999 and the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 16,999, it is available in Blue and Titanium colors. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be available exclusively from Flipkart from December 18th.
