Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) with 5.7 inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, 4130mAh battery announced in Russia

Asus has announced a new variant to the Zenfone Max series, the Zenfone Max Plus M1 in Russia which makes it the second devices by the company to sport a 18:9 aspect ratio display following the Pegasus 4S smartphone launched earlier this month.  The Zenfone Max Plus M1 comes with a 5.7-inch FHD+ full screen display having 18:9 aspect ration with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 80%.

The Zenfone Max Plus M1 comes with dual rear camera set up having a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and quick focus of 0.03 seconds along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera having 120-degree wide-angle lens for taking group photos.  The front camera is an 8MP shooter with 85-degree wide angle lens along with f/2.0 aperture.

The Zenfone Max Plus M1 is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T 64-bit processor with Malit-T860 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage and the second variant is the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage, it can be expandable using microSD card up to 256GB. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0. It comes with a Fingerprint senor on the back and has Dual SIM (nano+nano) having Hybrid slot. It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The main USP of the device being its battery, it sports a 4130mAh battery which we are expecting to give good battery back up, it is not clear at this point if the battery supports fast charging or not. The Asus Zenfone Max Plus M1 is announced in Gold, Silver and Black colors in Russia and the update about the pricing will be given shortly.
