Asus has launched an array of devices which include three smartphones – Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Ultra along with a Laptop – ZenBook 3 and the Transformer 3 Pro which is a Surface pro 4 competitor. The Zenfone 3 and the Zenfone 3 Ultra are two of the smartphones although the Znenfone 3 Ultra cannot be called a smartphone with the 6.8-inch display but can be called a Phablet.
The Zenfone 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD TFT LED backlight display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a MSM8953 Snapdraogn 625 processor with two variants having 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. It comes with a 16MP rear camera with F/2.0 aperture, LED flash along with OIS and Laser Autofocus, it is capable of capturing 64MP resolution pictures and also 4K resolution videos. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with F/2.0 and 88-degree wide angle lens similar to the other two devices.
The Zenfone 3 comes with TriTech Autofocus which focuses on images in 0.03 seconds and using the 4-axis OIS and 3-axis EIS. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0 over it. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery as well.
Coming to the Zenfone 3 Ultra, it is a Phablet device with a display size of 6.8-inch hacing Full HD resolution. It is powered by a Snapdraogn 653 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The camera specifications are similar to the Zenfone 3 Deluxe having a 23MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF along with an 8MP front facing camera.
It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0 over it and is powered by 4600mAh battery with USB Type-C and also supports Quick Charge 3.0 with reverse charging feature as well. This device also comes with the metal body and invisible antenna design.
The Zenfone 3 is priced at $249for the 3GB and 32GB storage variant and no update about the other variant pricing. The Zenfone 3 Ultra is priced at $479 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage.
